Religion Minor
The minor in religion requires 18 hours in religion, nine of which must be in upper division (300-400 level) courses. The minor is useful for students with a religious interest who plan to teach at the secondary level in either public or private schools.

In addition to the major and minor in religion, the University works collaboratively with diocesan offices throughout Florida in support of the continuing education needs of clergy, religious, and laity. Credit and noncredit programs are available in support of permanent deaconate formation, youth ministry and lay leadership.

For the major, 36 credit hours in religious studies are required (nine of these credits also help fulfill the University requirement of 64 credits in the core liberal arts and skills curriculum). With the advice and approval of the faculty, majors can pursue one of the following areas of concentration:
