The Associate of Arts Degree is designed for the student who desires a strong biblical foundation in preparation for further study at another college or effective ministry within the local church. A core of Bible, ministry, and general education courses enable the student to gain a solid foundation for life and ministry.

AA Degree in Biblical Studies at Trinity College of Florida

The Associate of Arts degree at Trinity College is a two-year degree offered to students for the purpose of providing a foundational program in biblical studies.

The goals of the A.A. are:
1. To equip students with basic skills in personal ministry and practical knowledge of the Bible.
2. To fulfill Bible requirements for professionals seeking appointment to serve with a mission board.

ASSOCIATE OF ARTS IN BIBLICAL STUDIES
All of the following requirements must be met in order to graduate and receive an Associate of Arts degree from Trinity College:
Completion of at least the final 30 credit hours and at least 50% of all biblical and theological studies credit hours in residence at Trinity College.
Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 60 semester hours with at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
Satisfactory completion of all requirements of the Associate of Arts curriculum.
Continued evidence of a consistent, genuine Christian testimony which upholds Scriptural standards in spiritual, ethical, and financial matters.
Satisfactory completion of all requirements of the College with regard to chapel attendance, Christian service, and church attendance. Details of these requirements may be found in the Student Handbook.
Continued essential agreement with the Doctrinal Statement of the College.
Satisfactory fulfillment of all financial obligations to the College. No degree will be granted or transcript provided to a student with an outstanding financial obligation to the College.
Affirmative recommendation for graduation by the faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Associate of Arts in Christian Studies at Regent International University Florida

If you have an interest in ministry, biblical studies or just want to deepen your understanding of Christianity, the Associate of Arts in Christian Studies program will introduce you to the key figures, places, events and themes of the Old Testament and New Testament. The program requires no previous theological training and will reward you with a greater appreciation of theology and its impact on the world around you.

Coursework will include studies of theology, missions, world religions and ministry and serves as a foundation for those who pursue a bachelor’s degree in religious studies at Regent University. By earning the Associate of Arts degree, you will be better prepared for roles in ministry, service organizations and other environments that benefit from solid Christian leadership.

Associate in Church Ministries at Maranatha Baptist Bible College

This two-year degree results in an Associate of Arts degree in Christian Ministry. It prepares students for support ministries in the local church or for further education in non-ministry vocations.

The 64-hour program requires a Biblical Studies Core of 16 semester hours, an approved concentration of 20 or more hours, and a General Studies Core of 22 hours. The Christian Ministry concentration may be replaced with a 20-hour concentration in Youth Ministries, Women’s Ministries, or Missions.

A few selected courses include Bible Doctrine (two semesters), New Testament Survey, English Composition, United States History, and Fundamentals of Public Speaking.
